



Mr. Weigel has been a leader in the recycling and solid waste business for more than 40 years. His ability to analyze collection and processing problems and design innovative solutions has made him a legend in the waste management industry. From his early beginnings as a garbage collector in the City of Mountain View to becoming President and owner of several waste collection, disposal and landfill operations, his career has been uniquely varied and singularly outstanding. As co-founder and partner of GreenWaste Recovery, Inc. and Zanker Road Resource Management, Ltd, Mr. Weigel has designed and implemented several innovative processes for resource recovery. His inventions include an automated demolition debris recycling plant, and a state-of-the-art composting operation, which have been recognized by the California Resource Recovery Association for innovation. The City of San Jose has also recognized Zanker’s composting operation by awarding the facility the City’s first two-year pilot and subsequent Citywide composting program.
Mr. Weigel has also designed and built the 52,000 square foot Material Recovery Facility at GreenWaste’s Charles Street property in San Jose which includes a single stream recycling line which processes over 20 tons per hour and an innovative and state of the art “Dirty MRF” that is able to process and recover material at a rate of 85%. This is material that would previously have been land filled, In addition, Mr. Weigel designed and built Z-Best’s food waste processing facility which processes over 1,500 tons per day of compostable food waste and yard waste. Mr. Weigel is on the Board of Directors of both Zanker Road Resource Management, Ltd. and GreenWaste Recovery, Inc.


Mr. Beall has been in the solid waste industry since 1984, beginning his career as the manager of the Jamestown Landfill. His responsibilities included landfill operations, equipment maintenance, management of two transfer stations, he was also the liaison to City departments. Mr. Beall became operations manager for the Zanker Road Landfill in 1990. His duties included managing and maintaining quality control over all materials, equipment, shipping and marketing. He left Zanker in July 1991 to become operations manager for GreenWaste Recovery. He manages and develops all driver and equipment, all safety reporting and training, and has been instrumental in developing GreenWaste’s routing, mapping and route auditing procedures. Mr. Beall is responsible for collection efficiency and the delivery of high-quality service to the residents GreenWaste serves.
Mr. Adams has been with GreenWaste for the past two years. Prior to joining GreenWaste, Mr. Adams spent ten years in the hospitality industry for a variety of hotel chains, including Sheraton, Gaylord and the Ritz Carlton. Mr. Adams’ experience has been in the customer service side of the industry, controlling the revenues for the rooms divisions in these chains. Tracy graduated in 1995 from Northwestern University.
